Not much, You?

Missed Raw last night, as I was sleeping. I did read a couple of reports, and I'll probably watch it on FFWD on the DVR. I did watch last Wednesday's TNA show, courtesy of a torrent, and it was certainly interesting. Ken Shamrock has apparently tossed aside Ultimate Fighting and his acting "career" to return to wrestling with TNA. Now, if he'd gone back to WWE, he'd probably go right back to the midcard where he was when he left. But as the first NWA/TNA world champ, he gets tossed right back into the main event, as he and 3 Live Kru will face Jeff Jarrett and his bereted jobber squad on the PPV tomorrow night. I suspect Jarrett will retain, but it would be interesting if they were to hotshot the title onto Shamrock, considering that Ron Killings has been the guy chasing Jarrett the last two months.

TNA is still bush league compared to WWE, but I think they're gaining a bit. Recent rumors have suggested that Bob Holly and Billy Gunn are unhappy with the direction of SD~! and are thinking about jumping ship at the end of their contracts. You have to figure that two WWE names like them(even if they are midcarders) would get dropped right into prime time on the show, even if the payout might not be as big. Let's face it though, Billy Gunn and Bob Holly, or D-Lo and Ken Shamrock, are a long way from TNA getting someone like the Rock or Austin or even Brock Lesnar. And until they get over the perception that they're bush league, they're not going anywhere.

ECW was also bush league... and, it would seem by your logic, worthless. Does WRESTLING count for anything anymore?

I'm not saying wrestling counts for nothing, but I'm not going to pay $10 a week to see it.

And ECW was extremely bush league, otherwise they'd still be out there plugging away.

But TNA, like ECW, will be bush league for a while because they don't have Time Warner throwing money at them to buy talent fed up with Vince. And I never said bush league is worthless. There's no Brucian logic at work here.
